A Victorian corner unit with two ceiling speakers playing Oakhaven FM to nobody in particular. Everything a person might need to grow something indoors, and no questions asked at the counter about why.
What it sells is the easy part. What it does not sell you is the electricity: light cycles, temperature that wanders on its own from day to day, humidity that depends on your fans, and mould that stops being recoverable once it has taken half of what you have.
The bill comes at twenty-six pence a unit with a sixty pence standing charge, and if you draw more than two hundred and seventy-seven units in a week somebody official starts wondering why. Closed curtains leak less light than open ones. That is not advice.
- 26p a unit · 60p standing charge
- Over 277 kWh draws attention
- Optimal dried yield 1 kg
